You’ve just finished your boudoir session, your hair’s still tousled, your cheeks hurt from smiling, and you’re feeling that post-shoot glow (and maybe a little curious about what happens next).
If you’ve never done a boudoir session before, you might be wondering: What happens after the photos are taken? Let me walk you through exactly what to expect — from the editing process to your private image reveal.
1. The Editing Process: Bringing the Magic to Life
Once your session wraps up, I carefully go through every image we captured and choose the best of the best. The moments that truly show off your confidence, beauty, and emotion.
Then comes the editing. My editing style is all about keeping things real while enhancing the light, tone, and details that make your images pop. I smooth out distractions like blemishes, bruises, or redness (we all get them — totally normal!), but I don’t alter what makes you uniquely beautiful.
Your images will still look like you just the most confident, radiant version of you.
2. The Image Reveal: Your Private Viewing
Once your images are edited, it’s time for one of my favorite parts your reveal session.
We’ll schedule a time (either an online gallery or over Zoom) where you’ll get to see your images for the very first time. Most of my clients admit they’re a little nervous right before… and then end up smiling or even tearing up during the reveal. It’s such a beautiful reminder of how powerful, strong, and feminine you really are.
During the reveal, you’ll get to:
- View your full gallery of edited images
- Choose your favorites
- Decide if you want to purchase additional images or upgrade your collection
- Explore print or album options (if you want something tangible to keep or gift)
You’re in complete control, nothing is ever shared or posted without your permission.
3. Delivery Day: Your Final Images
Once you’ve chosen your favorites, I’ll send over your final selections through a secure online gallery. You’ll be able to download your images and keep them forever. Whether that’s in a private album on your phone, printed into a keepsake, or tucked away as a reminder of how far you’ve come.
If you order an album, I’ll design it with your favorite images and have it professionally printed to match the quality your photos deserve.
4. The Afterglow
Here’s something no one really tells you: the boudoir experience doesn’t end when the photos are delivered. Most of my clients tell me they see themselves differently afterward. A little more confident, a little more proud, and a lot more in love with their body.
